Run the rake through your dog's coat applying no more pressure than you would brushing your own hair. Allow the spinning stainless steel teeth to gently tease through any tangles in the coat. Gently saw the rake back and forth to loosen any undercoat tangles and remove any loose or dead hair.

Removing dead undercoat from your dog's coat, not only makes them look better, it also makes them feel better too. Dead undercoat can be itchy, heavy and cause matts in your dog's coat which can be uncomfortable for them.
