INDICATIONS

ECO-FEAR is an oral homeopathic medicine which helps animals to cope in stressful situations, especially being exposed to loud noises or being transported or exposed to new or unfamiliar surroundings.

ECO-FEAR is specifically formulated to help relieve fear, anxiety and nervousness in animals.

ECO-FEAR will be beneficial:

• During thunderstorms or celebrations involving the use of fire-crackers and fireworks.
• To help relieve the stress of being transported or rehomed.
• To help reduce the stress the animals at shows or in performance arenas.
• To help relieve the nervousness and improve the focus of animals being trained.
• To reduce the anxiety experienced by animals at grooming or doggie parlours.
• To reduce the stress of animals in shelters and in foster care.
• To help prepare an animal to be moved to a new environment.
• To assist in the treatment of feather plucking in parrots.

USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH

ECO-TRAVEL To help reduce travel sickness, nausea, hyperactivity and digestive upsets when travelling with your animal.

ECO-HEAL To help reduce stress in first aid situations when your animal has been injured or in an accident.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION INFORMATION

Frequency of dose

ECO-FEAR is most effective when 3 doses are given over a period of 12 hours before a stressful event.

When used to assist in recovery from an unexpected stress situation, give ECO-FEAR at 30 minutes intervals for 3 doses.

Give the prescribed dose of the medicine at least 10 minutes away from food or other remedies or supplements.  If you are using more than one Eco-Vet medicine at a time, please give the medicines 10 minutes apart for maximum efficacy.

Preparation of medicine and directions for administration

ECO-FEAR is prepared in 20% ethanol and should therefore be diluted before giving it to your animal.

While water is the best medium for administration, if your pet does not tolerate the water, you can substitute milk. As a last resort, you can give it on a little treat, but this may delay or impact the efficacy of the medicine.

When you are able to administer the medicine directly into your pet’s mouth, dilute the medicine in clean water and allow it to stand for a few minutes to allow the alcohol to evaporate. You can then administer the recommended dose of the diluted medicine directly into the mouth using a clean dry plastic spoon or syringe.

Alternatively you can add the recommended dose of the medicine to the animal’s drinking water, stir with a plastic spoon and leave to stand for a few minutes to allow any alcohol to evaporate before giving it to your pet. Be sure to make up fresh drinking water at least once a day or whenever the water is soiled or dirty.

PRECAUTIONS / THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU USE THIS MEDICINE

Please consult your veterinarian if your animal is in severe distress or if symptoms of anxiety do not show any improvement within 3 days.

There are no known side effects.  If your pet’s condition starts to deteriorate, please consult your veterinarian.

Giving an overdose or too much medicine is unlikely with a homeopathic medicine because it contains such minute doses of material substance. The only problem is if  the medicine is not diluted correctly and the animal consumes too much alcohol, in which case you should consult your veterinarian.
