INDICATIONS

ECO-NEPH is an oral homeopathic medicine which should be used as an adjuvant to support the treatment of bladder, kidney and urogenital problems in animals.

ECO-NEPH is specifically intended to help in relieving:

• Bladder irritation and weakness
• Chronic and recurrent cystitis
• Lower back pain and inflammation due to kidney conditions
• Acute and chronic nephritis and chronic kidney infections
• Albuminuria
• Urine that is discoloured or contains a sediment

USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH

ECO-BLADDER Is to be used in the early stages of bladder and kidney disease and together with ECO-NEPH for chronic conditions of the urinary system.

ECO-LIVER For associated liver conditions

ECO-HEAL For additional inflammation support

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION INFORMATION

Frequency of dose

In acute or recent conditions:

Give the recommended dose every 30 minutes for 6 doses. Then give a dose every hour for 4 doses.  Thereafter reduce the frequency to 3 times daily. Thereafter keeps giving at hourly intervals until  symptoms are under control.

For chronic problems:

Give the recommended dose three times daily.

Give the prescribed dose of the medicine at least 10 minutes away from food or other remedies or supplements.  If you are using more than one Eco-Vet medicine at a time, please give the medicines 10 minutes apart for maximum efficacy.

Preparation of medicine and directions for administration

ECO-NEPH is prepared in 20% ethanol and should therefore be diluted before giving it to your animal.

While water is the best medium for administration, if your pet does not tolerate the water, you can substitute milk. As a last resort, you can give it on a little treat, but this may delay or impact the efficacy of the medicine.

When you are able to administer the medicine directly into your pet’s mouth, dilute the medicine in clean water and allow it to stand for a few minutes to allow the alcohol to evaporate. You can then administer the recommended dose of the diluted medicine directly into the mouth using a clean dry plastic spoon or syringe.

Alternatively you can add the recommended dose of the medicine to the animal’s drinking water, stir with a plastic spoon and leave to stand for a few minutes to allow any alcohol to evaporate before giving it to your pet. Be sure to make up fresh drinking water at least once a day or whenever the water is soiled or dirty.

PRECAUTIONS / THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU USE THIS MEDICINE

Please consult your veterinarian if symptoms are severe or persist for longer than three days without improvement.

There are no known side effects.  If your pet’s condition starts to deteriorate, please consult your veterinarian.

Giving an overdose or too much medicine is unlikely with a homeopathic medicine because it contains such minute doses of material substance. The only problem is if  the medicine is not diluted correctly and the animal consumes too much alcohol, in which case you should consult your veterinarian.
